Australia's unique environment and heritage screen saver

Department of the Environment and Heritage, December 2005

About the screen saver

Screen shots from the Environment and Heritage screen saver

From the Antarctic to the wetlands of Kakadu, the red earth of the outback and the corals of the Great Barrier Reef, Australia has an environment that is both beautiful and unique.

More than 80 per cent of our animals, plants and birds are found nowhere else in the world, and 16 of our natural and heritage places are recognised on the World Heritage List.

With this screensaver, the Australian Government is keen to ensure that we can all enjoy this beauty and diversity in our daily lives.
