Performance 2005-06 and trends
DEH does not currently record the total value of goods and services purchased that were registered with voluntary environmental or social labels and/or certification programmes. We do have some data about key purchases from suppliers with certified environmental management systems (such as paper suppliers).
The value of DEH goods and services purchases in 2005-06 from respondents to the environmental performance supply chain survey was $107 444 898.
Commentary
In 2006-07 we will follow up with a new supply chain survey and link these results to our tracking of expenditure over time.
Goals 2006-07
- Continue to track the value of goods and services procured from suppliers responding to the supply chain environmental performance survey.
