Performance 2005-06 and trends
The Outcome 1 percentage of invoices from small businesses paid within 30 days was 94.3% in 2005-06. This compares to the 2004-05 percentage of 92% and the Australian Government’s target of 90%. DEH’s 2005-06 goal to increase the proportion of invoices paid within 30 days to over 92% was achieved.
The Outcome 2 percentage of invoices paid within 30 days was 93.7% in 2005-06. This is a decrease compared to the 2004-05 percentage of 98.82%. The performance for 2005-06 well exceeds the Australian Government’s target of 90% and DEH’s goal of increasing the proportion of invoices paid within 30 days to over 92%.
