Performance 2005-06 and trends
In 2005-06, Outcome 1 spent $5.4m on capital works. This compares to $3.8m in 2004-05. This is an increase of $1.6m, up 42% on the 2004-05 reporting year. The 2005-06 expenses included internally-developed data access systems such as $0.8m for the Environmental Data Gathering and Reporting System (EDGAR)/On-Line System for Challenge Plus Activity Reporting (OSCAR), $0.8m for the Australian Greenhouse Emissions Information Access System, $0.3m for the EPBC database system, $0.3m for the National Carbon accounting system and $0.3m for the Wildlife Management database.
In 2005-06, Outcome 2 spent $11.4m on capital works. This compares to $7m in 2004-05. This is an increase of $4.4m, up 62% on the previous 2004-05 reporting year. The 2005-06 expenses included $3.85m on the Davis summer accommodation and field store, $1.38m for Mawson general store, living quarters and powerhouse, $1.28m for a bulldozer and loader, and $0.88m for snow-blowers and ice cutter.
