Commentary
It is likely that AAD has some scientific information and data relating to this criterion: for example, on Macquarie Island, there are changes with respect to increasing rabbit populations that are having an impact on breeding colonies of birds and penguins. However, data and information that would address this criterion for all AAD activities and operations are not currently consolidated into a form for reporting purposes, and would require considerable research, investigation and time to acquire.
Goals 2006-07
- Clarification of scope and discussion on the possibility of setting up a data collection framework.
