The infrastructure required to source the data and the tools required to analyse the data in order to address this criterion are not currently in place at Antarctic and sub-Antarctic stations (e.g. appropriately located rainfall gauges, monitoring of Antarctic snow and ice accumulation and melt, etc.). Nor is this data readily available from the water service provider for AAD’s Tasmania operations.
