Continue monitoring activities in accordance with management plan requirements
Performance 2005-06 and trends
Activities that might impact on biodiversity values include the construction of roads, camping grounds and other visitor facilities, and visitor use. Monitoring activities were carried out in accordance with management plan requirements in 2005-06.
During 2005-06, environmental impact assessments were completed for all proposed infrastructure developments at Uluru. There were no other development proposals under consideration in 2005-06.
Commentary
Data on the number of IUCN Red List species with habitats in areas affected by Parks operations are not available. Parks does report on 787 EPBC Act listed species (including threatened, migratory and marine species) as detailed below:
