SSD commissions helicopter and light plane services to support fieldwork activities. Just over a kilolitre of aviation fuels were used by these service providers, which equals 45GJ of energy (indirectly producing 117kgs of CO2 equivalent).
Commentary
SSD does not conduct large-scale shipping to support its operations.
