SSD has not been recycling or reusing water at either of its facilities.
Commentary
To date, there is no available infrastructure that enables recycling of water. In response to the increase in water usage at DEH Darwin during 2005-06, SSD will assess options for recycling water used in the aquaculture programme.
Goals 2006-07
- Assess opportunities to reuse aquaculture water on gardens at the DEH Darwin building.
