In 2005-06 SSD gained access to the Chemwatch database. This database has begun to be populated with information on chemicals and quantities thereof held by SSD. It is not currently being actively used to track acquisition and disposal of chemicals used on site.
SSD also gained access to Intellex, a database designed to assist in the development and management of an EMS. An initial overview was provided on the functionality of the system, although it has not been populated with data as yet.
