SSD conducts business from two premises: a DEH facility leased and located in Darwin (3500m2) and the Jabiru Field Station (3067m2) located on the Ranger project area, which is 7800 hectares in size.
SSD also owns houses on leased land in the township of Jabiru. All leased land in Jabiru is located adjacent to the biodiversity-rich Kakadu National Park. The total area of the park is 1 980 400 hectares.
