Performance 2005-06 and trends
All parks have a process in place to record paper use. In 2005-06 parks used 1628 reams of paper or an average of 8 reams per person compared to an estimated 6.5 reams per person for 2004-05, an increase of 23%.
All parks use 60% recycled Fuji-Xerox Green Wrap paper for all standard A4 printing or photocopying tasks. All parks have printers with double-sided printing capability and there is a standard practice of reusing paper wherever possible. Paper is recycled at ANBG and at Booderee and at the remote sites some used paper is shredded and used as mulch or packaging material.
