Management Plan for Crocodylus porosus in the Northern Territory
Parks and Wildlife Service of the Northern Territory, 2005
A Wildlife Trade Management Plan has been developed by the Parks and Wildlife Service of the Northern Territory for saltwater crocodiles. This management plan covers the wild harvest, captive breeding and farming of saltwater crocodiles (Crocodylus porosus) in the Northern Territory.
The Declaration of an Approved Wildlife Trade Management Plan for saltwater crocodiles in the Northern Territory states that the Minister for the Environment and Heritage has approved these management plans. The Minister's approval excludes that part of the management plan which provided for the introduction of commercial safari hunting.
