Research to improve air quality
The Clean Air Research Programme aims to identify and address some of the major research gaps in the management of air quality in Australia. It supports research activities with a national focus that directly underpin policies and management actions to minimise the human health impacts of air pollution.
Up to $1.4 million has been made available to fund approved research projects between 2005-2008. The programme is focused on finding answers to the key scientific uncertainties associated with the relationships between the:
