Halon recycling, reclaiming and other services
Domestic needs
The National Halon Bank maintains the capability to reclaim, repackage and arrange for the re-certification of storage containers used to hold halon stock.
All halon reclaimed will meet ISO 7201-1 1989.
International services

The National Halon Bank has broad experience in reclaiming, reprocessing, storing and maintaining halon stock. This expertise is available to assist commercial entities and government agencies worldwide in developing and implementing halon phaseout and banking projects.
The National Halon Bank will assist in the importation of stock from overseas for disposal or reclamation for subsequent re-export for either commercial or Government agencies. Halon is reclaimed to AS ISO 7201-1 1989.
Reclamation will be carried out at the National Halon Bank by DASCEM Holdings (contract managers). Destruction will be carried out by BCD Technologies, using the Australian developed PLASCON(TM).
