The application period for the Experienced Persons Licence Transition Programme (EPLTP) closed on 25 June 2007.
The EPLTP has been developed to offer funding to suitable organisations to assess the competency of refrigeration and air conditioning technicians throughout Australia. This funding initiative is expected to encourage technicians working with ozone depleting refrigerants to become appropriately licensed and, in doing so, reduce fluorocarbon emissions to the atmosphere.
