Discharge of scheduled substances - Section 45B of the Act proclaimed with a startup date of 1 January 2009

Any discharge of scheduled substances on or after 1 January 2009 that are not in accordance with the regulations will be considered an offence, as listed under Part VIA, section 45B of the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Act 1989.

1 January 2009 was fixed by Proclamation as the startup date for the purposes of subsection 45B(4) of the Act.
