Land Snails of Australia — Museum Collections

With funding from the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) and the Australian Government — Department of the Environment and Heritage, the institutions listed below are identifying and databasing virtually all the available collections of Australian Land Snails. The project will be completed in mid 2005.

This continental wide dataset is available through the GBIF network. As an interim measure it is available via the Australian Biodiversity Information Facility, but will ultimately reside with OZCAM, the access point to Australian Museum collections.
