Diagnosis
Puparia without dorsal compound pores, although large simple pores may be present. Legs without claws, but usually with subcircular apical structures, termed 'adhesion pads'. Lingula sometimes extending beyond boundary of vasiform orifice, but never bearing 4 stout setae.
