Introduction
Clausidiids are found in association with sponges, molluscs, crustaceans, cnidarians, polychaetes and vestimentiferan and echiuran worms. The family comprises seven genera, and 68 species. See Boxshall & Halsey (2004: 482) for more details as well as a key to the genera.
