Introduction
Cooloola Rentz, 1980; priority for family-group names based on Cooloola dates from Cooloolidae Rentz, 1980. First use as Cooloolidae by Rentz, 1980.
The unique characteristics of the family were reviewed by Rentz (1999) who commented on the disjunct distribution of species. New species and a key to known species was presented.
