     Syntype(s) BMNH ♂ (second syntype may be lost, see Koch, L.E. 1967. The genus Chasmoptera (Neuroptera: Nemopteridae), with the description of a new species from Western Australia. Proceedings of the Royal Entomological Society of London. Series B 36: 137–146 [141]), between Perth and Guildford, WA.
