Menoponidae: Colpocephalum albidum Giebel, 1874, see Thompson, G.B. & Plomley, N.J.B. 1938. A list of the insect ectoparasites recorded from Australian birds and mammals. Proceedings of the Linnean Society of New South Wales 63: 105-127 [111] (from Macropygia amboinensis phasianella (Temminck, 1821) and Phaps chalcoptera (Latham, 1790) is a nomen dubium (<0180> [77])).

MENOPONIDAE: Colpocephalum temporale Piaget, 1890, see Thompson, G.B. & Plomley, N.J.B. 1938. A list of the insect ectoparasites recorded from Australian birds and mammals. Proceedings of the Linnean Society of New South Wales 63: 105-127 [111] (from Probosciger aterrimus (Gmelin, 1788) is probably a contaminant from Alisterus amboinensis (Linnaeus, 1766) from an undetermined locality (<0285> [645] as Franciscoloa temporale)).
