   Holotype SAMA C2347 ♀ subadult, east of Babel Island, TAS [39º55'S 148º31'E].
  Paratype(s) AM G2232 ♂ (erroneously given as C2235 in Hale (1944) loc. cit.), 4.5–5 km off Jibbon Point, NSW; AM G2228 ♂ ♀, 9–12 km off Cape Three Points, NSW.
