PHILOPTERIDAE: Degeeriella paraboliceps (Piaget, 1880) [listed by Thompson & Plomley (1938: 114) from Probosciger aterrimus (Gmelin, 1788) is a contaminant from an undetermined passerine (Hopkins & Clay (1952: 60) as Brueelia paraboliceps (Piaget, 1880))].

PHILOPTERIDAE: Degeeriella divergens (Neumann, 1890) [listed by Thompson & Plomley (1938: 114) from Pezoporus wallicus (Kerr, 1792) is a nomen dubium (Hopkins & Clay (1952: 242) as Nirmus divergens Neumann, 1890)].

PHILOPTERIDAE: Degeeriella goniocotes (Piaget, 1885) [originally described from Dacelo gigas (Boddaert, 1783) (=Dacelo novaeguineae (Hermann, 1783)) from Madagascar, and listed by Johnston & Harrison (1912: 10) as a doubtful record (Hopkins & Clay (1952: 56) as Brueelia goniocotes (Piaget, 1885))].
