Species Ectopsocus briggsi MaLachlan, 1899

  • Ectopsocus briggsi McLachlan, R. 1899. Ectopsocus briggsi, a new genus and species of Psocidae found in England. Entomologist's Monthly Magazine 35: 277-278 illustr [277].
    Type data:
     Lectotype BMNH adult, sex unknown probably female), Lynmouth, North Devon, England.
    Paralectotype(s) BMNH adults, sexes unknown (McLachlan, R. 1899. Ectopsocus briggsi, a new genus and species of Psocidae found in England. Entomologist's Monthly Magazine 35: 277–278 illustr. [277] mentions fourteen specimens, which he considered probably to be females; he does not mention a holotype but catalogue in BMNH list holotype and paratypes; lectotype designation has not been traced).
  • Ectopsocus limbatus Navás, L. 1909. Neuropteros nuevos de la fauna iberica. Actas y Memorias del Prim. Congreso Naturalistes Española. Ser 5 1: 143-158 pl. 13 figs 1-10 [155].
    Type data:
     Holotype MZBL (originally in Navas pers. coll. which is now in MZBL, but probably lost or destroyed since not located by Meinander, M. 1979. Revision of the European Psocoptera recorded by Navás. Misc. Zool. 5: 59–67 [64]), Spain.
