Order GOLFINGIFORMES
Introduction
After Edmonds (2000)
The order Golfingiformes is diagnosed by having longitudinal and circular musculature in continuous layers, and not banded. The order comprises three families, Golfingiidae, Themistidae and Phascolionidae, all of which have representatives in Australian water.
