PHILOPTERIDAE: Goniodes cornutus Rudow, 1869 [from Microtribonyx (= Gallinula) ventralis Gould, 1837 listed by Johnston & Harrison (1912: 4) is an unrecognizable species from an erroneous host, with no type available (Hopkins & Clay 1952: 152)].
