The Hubbardiidae, formerly known as the Schizomidae (Reddell & Cokendolpher 1995), are the largest schizomid family. Twenty-eight genera are included, of which seven are found in Australia. Four of these, Draculoides Harvey, Julattenius Harvey, Notozomus Harvey, Attenuizomus Harvey and Brignolizomus Harvey, appear to be endemic to Australia, while Apozomus Harvey and Bamazomus Harvey are also found in Asia.
