  • Lepidosaphes Shimer, H. 1868. Notes on the “apple bark-louse” (Lepidosaphes conchiformis, Gmelin sp.) with a description of a supposed new Acarus. Transactions of the American Entomological Society 1868: 361-374 [372].
    Type species:
     Coccus conchiformis Shimer, 1868 by monotypy.
