     Holotype NMV No. T-10873 soldier (date of collection 24 Jan. 1917, not 14 Jan. 1924 as given in Miller, L.R. 1991. A revision of the Termes-Capritermes branch of the Termitinae in Australia (Isoptera: Termitidae). Invertebrate Taxonomy 4: 1147–1282 [1238], which was the date of donation to NMV), Darwin, NT.
    Paratype(s) NMV worker (headless).
