Mesozoans
Introduction
Representatives of the Phylum Mesozoa are small, multicellular internal parasites, some of which are found in the renal passages of various cephalopods. Although, currently no Mesozoa are recorded for Australia, since several New Zealand species are known and others from the Antarctic, it seems likely that they will eventually be reported from Australian waters.
