Introduction
[After Edwards in Nielsen et al. (1996: 101)].
This family has been used for a number of genera currently placed in the Cosmopterigidae. Hodges (1978) removed all genera from the Momphidae except Mompha Hübner which is absent from Australia and the family was omitted by Common (1990) and Nielsen & Common (1991). However, Dugdale (1988) included Zapyrastra Meyrick in the Momphidae so the genus [was] parked here until further studies are made.
