Introduction

Mystacocarids are minute narrow crustaceans that live in the interstitial spaces between sand grains of intertidal marine beaches (Schram 1986; Boxshall & Defaye 1996). The subclass has a single order with one family. Zinn et al. (1982) listed the earlier literature.
