Introduction

This monotypic genus is only known from the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Other distributional records need to be confirmed as they may be based on misidentification of undescribed genera.

Diagnosis

Pro- und Mesonotum zusammen wesentlich breiter als lang; Pronotum in der Mitte stark eingedrückt, nahe dem Vorderrande und fast parallel mit ihm ein scharfer Bogenkiel, der seitlich bis hinter die Augen reicht. Die Seitenkiele des Mesonotums endigen am Vorderrande. Die Fühler überragen die Seitenecken der Stirn, aber nicht die Augen. Schnabel die Hinterhüften kaum erreichend. Deckflügel parallelseitig. Flügel weit schmäler als jene, ihr Anallappen verkümmert, ohne Gabelader. (Jacobi 1928)
