     Holotype BMNH (Riek, E.F. 1973. A revision of Australian scorpion flies of the family Choristidae (Mecoptera). Journal of the Australian Entomological Society 12: 103–112 states that its 'Location [is] not known'; Byers, G.W. pers. comm. says that a was in the type collection in 1964), Port Phillip (as Port Philip), VIC.
  • Chorista victoriensis Issiki, S. 1931. Two new species of scorpion flies (Insecta, Order Mecoptera). Annals and Magazine of Natural History 10 7: 219-222 [219].
