     Holotype MCG 44447 ♂ skin (wet) & skull, Ambon Pulau (as Amboina), Indonesia.

 

Introduction

Nominate subspecies occurs on Maluku Islands, removed from the Australian list following van Dyck & Strahan (2008: 487).
