Introduction
These are small rare spiders known only from the coastal tropics.
Diagnosis
Nesticidae resemble linyphiids with which they share the rebordered labium, a feature lacking in the Theridiidae with which they share the serrated line of bristles on the ventral edge of tarsi IV.
