    Type data:
     Holotype ANIC No. 9056 soldier, Johnston (as Johnston's) Lagoon, 45 miles (72 km) N Newcastle Waters, NT.
    Paratype(s) ANIC ♀ alate, worker (morphotypes); ANIC series No. 10 2241 alates, soldiers, workers (type colony); NMV alate, soldiers, workers (type colony).
