Gregarious, herbivore, terrestrial.

Extra Ecological Information

Subsocial, galleries in rough bark of Allocasuarina torulosa (Aiton) [Casurinaceae] and Eucalyptus spp., associated with lichen Cladonia on rocks, inhabiting lichens of ledges, bark flakes, and old fence posts, nests occupied by parasite, Embidobia longipennis Dodd [Hymenoptera: Scelionidae].
