Introduction
This checklist currently includes only the three smaller Oestroidea familes that are represented in Australia. We hope to be able to add the Sarcophagidae and Tachinidae before too long. For the present, information on Australian representation of these two families can be found in Hamilton et al. (2006), and online in Evenhuis' (2007) Catalog of the Diptera of the Australasian and Oceanian Regions.
