Introduction
Parasquillidae is the sole family in the Parasquilloidea, and comprises three genera of which two are represented in Australia. All are 'spearers' and bear three teeth on the dactylus of the raptorial claw and three primary spines on the uropodal protopod. Ahyong (2001) provided keys for identification.
