Family PERIEGOPIDAE Simon, 1893
Introduction
The Periegopidae are known only from one genus in Australia and New Zealand. In Australia, Perigops is known only from rainforest at the type locality north-west of Brisbane, Queensland.
Diagnosis
Medium to large haplogyne spiders with 6 eyes. Cheliceral promargin with median lamella, retromargin edentate. 3 claws; paired claws with one row of teeth on inner margin.
