PHILOPTERIDAE: Philopterus longipes (Rudow, 1870) [listed by Thompson & Plomley (1938: 113) from Ardea novaehollandiae Latham, 1790 is a nomen dubium from an undetermined host (Hopkins & Clay (1952: 123) as Docophorus longipes Rudow, 1870)].
