Order RHINEBOTHRIIDEA Healy, Caira, Jensen, Webster & Littlewood, 2009

Introduction

This order, formerly part of the Tetraphyllidea was erected for the members of the former sub-family Rhinebothriinae, characterised by bothridia with multiple, longitudinally paired loculi (Healy et al. 2009). It contains a single family Rhinebothriidae, of which only a single genus Rhinebothrium has been reported from Australia.
