Introduction

Splanchnotrophida are typically endoparasitic, living within the gut tissues and/or hepatic diverticula of their nudibranch gastropod hosts. There are five genera, 19 known species. See Boxshall & Halsey (2004: 665) for more details as well as a key to the genera.
