  • Stenaphorura Absolon, K. 1900. Vorläufige Mittheilung über die Aphoruriden aus den Höhlen des mährischen Karstes. Zoologischer Anzeiger 23: 406-414 [411] [Ellis, W.N. & Bellinger, P.F. 1973. An annotated list of the generic names of Collembola (Insecta) and their type species. Monog. Ned. Entomol. Ver. 7: 1–74 state that the genus is also published as new in Absolon, K. 1901. Studie o jeskynních šupinuškách. Vest. Kl. Prír. v Prostejove 1900(3): 83–117, but according to Bartos, E. 1962. K nedoz itym petaosmdesátinám prof. PhDr. Karla Absolona. Vest. Csl. Spol. Zool. 26: 287–291 this was published in 1901].
    Type species:
     Stenaphorura japygiformis Absolon, 1900 by original designation.
