Biodiversity in Regional Planning

Examples of including biodiversity conservation in regional planning

The research report Mechanisms for Improved Integration of Biodiversity Conservation in Regional NRM Planning (PDF file) was funded from the Natural Heritage Trust. The report was published in July 2003.

Section 4 of the report describes initiatives in each State and Territory. The Appendix includes case studies of successful biodiversity initiatives. The case studies are reproduced here:
