About the agreement
This document outlines the overall purpose, goal and objectives of the Partnership for the East Asian–Australasian Flyway, including its legal status. The document also sets out the role of Partners in supporting the objectives of the Partnership, as well as details of membership, administration and finance.
Governments, international non-government organisations, inter-governmental organisations and the international business sector may join the Partnership by endorsing this document and supporting the objectives and actions under the Partnership. A list of partners is maintained at Appendix I of this document.
The migratory waterbird groups covered by the Partnership are included at Appendix III, and the criteria for the inclusion of sites in the Flyway Site Network are detailed in Appendix IV. The list of sites included in the East Asian–Australasian Flyway Site Network will be included at Appendix V shortly.
