Workshop Participants and Advisors

The Biological Diversity Advisory Council held a high level National Biodiversity Research Priorities Strategic Planning Workshop on 10 April 2000 to obtain advice from experts in a range of biodiversity conservation fields including ecology, taxonomy, land and marine area management, research and development, informatics and economics. Advice and comment on national biodiversity research priorities was received from the workshop participants and report advisors named below.

The views expressed in the June 2000 discussion paper, Biodiversity Research: Australia's Priorities, were those of the Biological Diversity Advisory Council and not necessarily the views of the workshop participants and advisors.
